Nashik: The job festival, organised by Shiv Sena got huge response by youths and girls. As many as 3000 youths and girls registered their names, whereas 821 got jobs, Shiv Sena informed.
This festival was held at CMCA college in Udoji Maratha boarding campus on Gangapur Road. It was inaugurated by district Shiv Sena chief Vijay Karanjkar, NMC opposition leader Ajay Boraste and others on Sunday morning.
More than 30 various companies like Wipro, Tata Docomo, Axis bank, Capita, Manpower, Polybond, Amazon, Finolex pipes, Bajaj Automobiles, BVG Group, Dominos, ISS, HDFC bank, Paytm, Thermax, Amdocs, Zento, Arcus Infotech, FS Techno Solutions, Syscode Technologies, Calibre, PR Associate and Avista Telesystem Pvt Ltd.
The officials of these companies informed the candidates about vacant posts and educational qualification. After classifying documents, each company accepted documents from the candidates and called them for interview after verification of the documents. Some companies interviewed the candidates directly. 821 candidates got jobs through this, informed organisers.
Considering response to this festival, a proposal has been passed to organise this festival every three months. Shiv Sena group leader Vilas Shinde, corporator D G Suryawanshi, R D Dhongde, Satyabhama Gadekar, Shyam Sabale, Nayan Gangurde, Principal of CMCS college Shinde and other Shiv Sena office bearers were present.
