Nashik: 15 gram panchayats in the district were honoured with ‘smart gram’ award in a programme organised at police parade ground to mark Maharashtra Day. Sarpanch of these gram panchayats were given citations by the District Guardian Minister.
District Guardian Minister Girish Mahajan, ZP chairperson Shital Sangle, Mayor Ranjana Bhansi, Deputy Mayor Prathmesh Gite, MLA Seema Hiray, Balasaheb Sanap, Divisional Commissioner Mahesh Zagde, District Collector Radhakrishnan B and ZP CEO Milind Shambharkar were present on dais.
Kiwari village from Baglan taluka, Rajdarewadi from Chandwad taluka, Lakhmapur from Dindori taluka, Kanakapur from Deola taluka, Pale from Kalvan taluka, Satmane from Malegaon taluka, Borale from Nandgaon taluka, Saiyyad Pimpri from Nashik taluka, Karanjgaon from Niphad taluka, Hanumannagar from Peth taluka, Ghodambe from Surgana taluka, Malegaon from Sinnar taluka, Torangan from Trimbakeshwar taluka and Undirwadi village from Yeola are among those gram panchayats which were honoured with the award. Sarpanch of these gram panchayats were honoured with citations.
